Lukas had his first swimming lesson today @ Lifestyle Swimming Instruction in Boise (lsiswim.com). The instructor, Miss Sue, (and there was one more but I didn't know her name) did very well with Lukas. They require goggles and hats are optional. There was one girl who had a really cool swim hat that looked like a shark. Man, gotta get one of those for Lukas!
The first thing they did was blow bubbles from their nose. Lukas did really well at this!
Then they practiced laying on their backs.
Miss Sue took Lukas out in the big water by himself.
I love the look on Lukas' face. He kept saying to her
"WAIT, WAIT!"
I'm excited for our next lesson on Friday. We will be practicing humming in the bathtub and trying to put our face under water.
great shots as usual :) So much fun. That look on his face while he's on his back.. brings back a lot of swimming lesson memories! The exhilarated terror!
